He has won international recognition as  an extremely gifted artist, classical pianist, a performer of music of the 19th and 20th centuries. He is also being recognized for his skills in synthesis, and for his improvisations. Vasilis Tsabropoulos was characterized as a child – miracle, as he became an international music competition award winner at the age of ten. He graduated from the National Conservatory of Athens whe he was 15 years old and continued his studies with a scholarship by the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, to the Conservatory of Paris, to the International Academy of Salzburg and to the Julliard School in New York. He studied next to Rudolf Serkin and Tatiana Nikolayeva. After his distinction in major international competitions, international career began with appearances in music centers and festivals throughout Europe. The critics have recognized him as a genuine and refreshing performer of romantic music, while being   internationally characterized as one of the leading European pianists of his generation. The wideness of this repertoire, more than one hundred projects, ranging in time from the pre-classical period to the modern musical pursuits of our century, while the centerpiece of his repertoire are works by Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Bach and compositions of the Russian school, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and the Prokovief. His work of the Twelve Preludes, for piano, was composed for the premier pianist and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy, who expressed his admiration for the sound and the masterly skills of the composer. Besides the piano pieces he has written projects for violin, cello, orchestra and various instrumental ensembles. Vasilis Tsampropoulos lives with his family in Athens.

ΒΑΣΙΛΗΣ ΤΣΑΜΠΡΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ "Ο γητευτής των πλήκτρων" 

Έχει κερδίσει τη διεθνή αναγνώριση, ως ένας εξαιρετικά προικισμένος καλλιτέχνης, κλασσικός πιανίστας, ερμηνευτής μουσικής του 19ου και 20ου αιώνα. Παράλληλα, αναγνωρίζεται και για τις συνθετικές του ικανότητες, αλλά και για τους αυτοσχεδιασμούς. Ο Βασίλης Τσαμπρόπουλος χαρακτηρίστηκε παιδί – θαύμα, καθώς άρχισε να κερδίζει βραβεία σε διεθνείς μουσικούς διαγωνισμούς σε ηλικία μόλις δέκα ετών. Αποφοίτησε από το Εθνικό Ωδείο Αθηνών στα 15 του και συνέχισε τις σπουδές του με υποτροφία του κοινωφελούς ιδρύματος Αλέξανδρος Ωνάσης στο Ωδείο του Παρισιού, στη διεθνή ακαδημία του Ζάλτσμπουργκ και στη σχολή Julliard της Νέας Υόρκης. Μαθήτευσε, δίπλα στον Rudolf Serkin και την Tatiana Nikolayeva. Μετά τις διακρίσεις του σε μεγάλους διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς, άρχισε η διεθνής σταδιοδρομία του με εμφανίσεις σε μουσικά κέντρα και φεστιβάλ σε όλη την Ευρώπη. Οι κριτικοί τον έχουν αναγνωρίσει ως γνήσιο αλλά και ανανεωτικό ερμηνευτή της ρομαντικής μουσικής, ενώ χαρακτηρίζεται διεθνώς ως ένας από τους κορυφαίους Ευρωπαίους πιανίστες της γενιάς του. Το εύρος του ρεπερτορίου του ξεπερνά τα εκατό έργα και εκτείνεται χρονικά από την προκλασική περίοδο έως τις σύγχρονες μουσικές αναζητήσεις του αιώνα μας, ενώ, κεντρικό άξονα του ρεπερτορίου του αποτελούν έργα του Μπετόβεν, του Μότσαρτ, του Σοπέν, του Μπαχ και συνθέσεις της Ρωσικής σχολής, Ραχμάνινοφ, του Προκόβιεφ και Σκριάμπιν. Το έργο του 12 Πρελούδια για πιάνο τα συνέθεσε για τον κορυφαίο πιανίστα και αρχιμουσικό Vladimir Ashkenazy,o οποίος εξέφρασε το θαυμασμό του για τον ήχο και τα δεξιοτεχνικά προσόντα του σύνθετη. Εκτός από τα έργα για πιάνο έχει γράψει έργα για βιολί, τσέλο, για ορχήστρα και για διάφορα οργανικά σύνολα. Ο Βασίλης Τσαμπρόπουλος ζει με την οικογένεια του στην Αθήνα.
